Learn how to install Progressive Web Apps on your device.

Install PWA on Android

  1. Open your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge) and navigate to the PWA website you want to install.
  2. Tap the menu button (three dots) in the top-right corner of the browser.
  3. Select "Add to Home screen" or "Install app" from the menu.
  4. A confirmation prompt will appear. Tap "Add" or "Install".
  5. The PWA will appear on your home screen as an app icon. Tap it to launch the app!

Tip: On Android, PWAs can send push notifications and work offline just like native apps.

Install PWA on iOS

  1. Open Safari (PWAs work best in Safari on iOS) and navigate to the PWA website.
  2. Tap the Share button (square with upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
  4. Edit the app name if desired, then tap "Add" in the top-right corner.
  5. The PWA icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it to launch the app!

Note: iOS PWAs don't support push notifications, but they can work offline and be used without an internet connection.

Install PWA on Desktop

Chrome / Edge

  1. Open Chrome or Edge and navigate to the PWA website.
  2. Look for the install icon in the address bar (or click the menu → "Install app").
  3. Click the install icon and confirm when prompted.
  4. The PWA will open in its own window and be added to your applications.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox and go to the PWA website.
  2. Click the menu button and select "Install".
  3. The app will be installed and accessible from your application menu.
